MAGNETS

What is a magnet? & What can it do?
A magnet is an object or device which gives off an external magnetic field. It essentially applies a force over a distance on other magnets, electrical currents, beams of charge, circuits, or magnetic materials. Although magnetism itself, can even be caused by electrical currents.
Can magnets be made? How...?
There are many metals which are magnetic, the most common include iron, nickel and colbalt. Although, to make a temporary magnet, you can use materials as simple as a paperclip and refridgerator magnet.
What is a magnetic field?
A magnetic field is the magnetic influence of electrical currents and magneitc materials, and much like gravitational fields cannot be seen or touched.
Can electricity make a magnet? & How?
Yes, electricity can make a magnet, as can a magnet make electricity. Since moving magnets cause electrons to flow in a wire, moving a magent past a coil will make electricity flow.
