Proud Beyond Belief!
Head Teacher Newsletter - Monday 30th January 2023
So teach us to number our days that we may get a heart of wisdom. Psalm 90:12

Well, it's been a busy week as you may all know. We've been waiting for the Ofsted call for quite sometime now...however, in reality, nothing can really prepare you for the one-day notice for what I can only describe as a rather intense, challenging and busy two days.
The inspectors had a jam-packed schedule and I have to say it's rather impressive how they stealthily move around the school speaking with so many pupils, staff, governors and parents/carers.
We do not have a definitive grade as of yet, however, as soon as we receive the report we will share it with you. What I can say, is that I am proud 'beyond believe' with how all of our children adapted and responded to such a disruptive two days. I am in awe of how they shared their thoughts on the school, their learning and generally what school life is like for them at Crawford's. I am equally so proud of how our staff faced such an intense interrogation of their teaching, leadership and contribution to school life. They were certainly put through their paces, as was I.
Finally, I would like to extend my sincere appreciation for all those who completed the Ofsted Parent View questionnaire; it was overwhelmingly positive and it served as the best possible feedback with regard to how you and your child(ren) feel about the school. As a school, the children come first!
We don't do what we do for the positive affirmation; that said, saying that you really value and appreciate the school has meant the world to us all and I am glad you can also see what I am privileged to witness on a daily basis!
We are a unique school with a unique approach to education; I am thankful you can see that and honour that you recognise how we are changing lives for the better!
Have a lovely week and please allow the children a well-earned rest, when we get there!
Mr Francksen
