Welcome Tuition Scholarships

The Catholic Education Foundation is happy to announce Welcome Tuition Scholarships for the 2022-2023 school year!

There will be (250) $1000 tuition scholarships available to incoming preschool and kindergarten students.

To be eligible, the student(s) must be the first child in their immediate family to attend a Catholic school.

Each family must complete an application, beginning on January 24, as well as the FACTS Grant and Aid application.

These scholarships will be awarded on a first come, first serve basis.

Fr. Bernie Update

Father Bernie will be sending his Friday letters using a different site (Evangeles) starting next week. You should have received an email with a link that says to “Complete profile”. You will need to click on this link and create a password. Once you have done this, click the box to accept the privacy policy and then “Continue”. Once you have done this, you will receive his parish letter every Friday. Please don’t hesitate to call the Parish Office with any questions (513) 932-2601.


Family Ornament Workshop

The Family Ornament Workshop is scheduled for Monday, January 31.

The family activity will be to make ornaments together.

The whole family will be able to do the workshop together. Once the family time has ended, the students will return to the classroom. The schedule for the family time remains the same. Please see the schedule below:

  • 9:00-9:45- Family names beginning with A-C
  • 10:00-10:45- Family names beginning with D-G
  • 11:00-11:45- Family names beginning with H-K
  • 12:00-12:45- Family names beginning with L-M
  • 1:00-1:45- Family names beginning with N-Sh
  • 2:00-2:45- Family names beginning with Sk-Z

The workshop will be in the cafeteria.

Since the workshop will be the entire day, the students will be eating lunch in the classroom.

Lunch Menu: Cheeseburger and/or Hot Dog with Fruit, Chips and a Juice Box/Water.

Library Update

Dear Parents,

Thank you so much for the generous Christmas gift. We have such wonderful families here at SFDS. I feel quite blessed to interact with your children during their library time.

Joyful Noise

Happy New Year!

The Joyful Noise Children's Choir had an awesome December. It was busy and the children worked very hard to make our Christmas celebration wonderful! Remember that we will be accepting new members all year long and any parishioner in grades 3-8 is welcome!

Open House

Many thanks to all of the families who have received an Open House sign! The Open House signs have been moved over to the Church to allow the parishioners to help promote the school. Please feel free to grab as many signs as you wish from the Church.

Currently, we have social media graphics being advertised to specific audiences on Facebook. Some flyers will be printed to share in the community. If you would like to help us spread the word, please share any of the graphics below.

Crusader Care- Job Opening

St. Francis De Sales School is looking for 1 provider for its after school care program. The after school care position is 3:30 – 6:00 p.m. Flexible scheduling is available.

Candidates will be paid $15 per hour.

Candidates will be required to obtain fingerprints, a background check, and be current with Safe Parish, prior to starting the position. Candidates will assist with crafts, games, etc. as well as supervision and general care of students.
