SOAR Options - Deadline to contribute for this year is April 30th
There is a particular one we are looking to have. The Lifetime brand folding picnic table. I am including a picture of the one at Costco. They are in the store for $129 or online for $189. I just bought one and there were at least 10 others left. This donation will count towards your SOAR donation. Amazon (SMILE) also has it available for $230. This is a link to a folding bench from Amazon for $150. We only need about 10 tables and 5 benches, once we reach this number I will let you know.
SOAR Capital Campaign! Thank you to those who have donated already. DEADLINE: April 30th
You can donate electronically through PayPal on the link below, donate by check to the school with student name and SOAR in subject line. If you prefer you can also set up a recurring charge through PayPal on the website to allow for smaller monthly payments.
Our target is 100% participation from our families and faculty. No tax-deductible gift is too small or too big and when added with the support of all our families the ability to make a significant impact can become a reality. A tax donation record will generated for donations above $50 and upon request or other amounts. Donations can be made electronically through the link below or by sending in checks or cash, please list SOAR in the memo line of checks. Details are located on our website. Please share this link with family and friends: www.thencla.org/SOAR
Thank you for your support!

The NCLA 5K
Spring is right around the corner. Time to lace up the sneakers and prepare for our annual 5K and Fun Run at The NCLA. This year's event will be held on Saturday, May 21st at 9 am on our campus. This year a portion of the student sponsorships raised will be donated to the American Heart Association.
This event is the PTO's largest and most critical fundraising effort of the year. We need many volunteers to help make it a success. If you are interested in helping with this event, please bring a friend and join us on April 6th at the Panera Bread on Main Street in Kernersville. The meeting will begin at 6:15 pm. We need volunteers to help with signage, coordinate food, the pre-race dinner, assist with the student incentives, coordinate water stations, etc. If you cannot attend, but would like to help, please email fundraising@thenclapto.org. Please include your phone number. Another huge component of our success is the participation of community sponsors. If you have a business or know of a business that may be interested, please contact Wena Podger at fundraising@thenclapto.org to receive a sponsor packet. Our sponsor rates are significantly less than comparable events and are tax deductible.
