Week of Respect
Berkeley Township School District recognized the Week of Respect, October 2nd through October 6th. During this week, our schools provided a variety of lessons to focus on the prevention of harassment, intimidation, and bullying. Students and staff dressed to promote the theme of the day, for example, Spirit Wear Day (to be strong and stand up to others), Sports Day (to show teamwork is a great way to show respect), Workout Day (to work out our differences in a respectful way), Mismatched Day (to respect our differences) and Tie Dye Day (to shine peace, love and kindness). Students also wrote positive messages in chalk and attended a kindness pep rally.
