Democrat? Caucus and Primary

Saturday, March 5th, 10am-12pm

The Seward County caucus for Presidential delegate selection begins at 10am on Sat, March 5 at the Seward Civic Center. You must be onsite by 10:10am. If you are not a registered Democrat by the 5th, you may register or update your party at the caucus before the meeting starts.


At the caucus you will meet with other Democrats to persuade others to support your candidate. You may want to be prepared to discuss why you support your candidate. There may be several rounds of voting until there is a significant majority who support one candidate.


The primary on Tuesday, May 10th from 8am to 8pm is the voting for non-presidential candidates at the County Ag Pavilion (if you are a Seward County resident).

Republican?

Tuesday, May 10th, 8am-8pm

The primary voting is open from 8am to 8pm on Tuesday, May 10th at the Seward County Ag Pavilion if you are a Seward County resident.


You must be a registered Republican voter by May 2nd.


At the primary you will sign in and go to a voting booth to make your selections.

Libertarian?

Tuesday, May 10th, 8am-8pm

The primary voting is open from 8am to 8pm on Tuesday, May 10th at the Seward County Ag Pavilion if you are a Seward County resident.


You must be a registered Libertarian voter by May 2nd.


At the primary you will sign in and go to a voting booth to make your selections.

Independent?

You must register as a Democrat, Republican or Libertarian to be able to vote in either the caucus or the primary. As an Independent you may vote in the General Election.
