January 2022
Happy 2022 Schlegel Families!
We had a WONDERFUL transition back to school! Thank you to all of our families who are staying on top of your children and their health. We are grateful to you for keeping children home and having them evaluated as needed. Our goal is to stay open and you are helping us do this!
A reminder for our Carline families. Please, please, please, stay in your car and have your child exit and enter on the right side of the car. We will help the younger ones if/when needed. IF your child needs assistance buckling up, please pull up past the staff member, pull over and then you can get out and attend to your child. Please, please, please DO NOT pass a car UNLESS one of the staff members direct you to do so. We realize the process takes patience. We INSIST on safety so please help us. Please share this message with anyone in your family that is responsible for drop off or pick up. THANK YOU for your kindness, flexibility, and support. (The message from October 2021 can be found below.)
Save the date, Thursday, March 3. We are still planning to have Open House for the Schlegel Families. Stay tuned for more details as we get closer to the date.
At Schlegel, we try our best to get outside EVERY day even in the winter. Be sure to send your child to school with a coat, snow pants, boots, mittens/gloves, hats and a pair of shoes to wear when inside. We suggestion putting your child's initials or grade on their items. We have a lost and found that grows each year. Help us help your child find their items by labeling them in some fashion. Each year, we donate the items left in lost and found.
Enjoy all the fun Winter activities with your child and family!
Best wishes,
Dr. Francine Leggett and Kate Hesla
