Why are Reefs in danger?
There are many threats to the reefs with the most common one being growing threats. The most serious one being climate change, which happens when there is a lot of pollution or global warming. This make the reefs temperature rise which is bad for algae/plants. Another harm is fishing , which can be a threat because the fishermen over fish and catch more of one fish leaving it unbalanced. The great barrier reef is under one of the biggest threats now being rapidly damaging the reef because of it's constant dumping and pollution. Therefore, the threats in the ocean are being damaged so you must help protect the reef.
