National Honor Society
National Honor Society Applicants
All juniors and seniors who are eligible to apply to National Honor Society (must have at least a 3.5 weighted cumulative GPA) received an e-mail Monday, August 31. This e-mail included three attachments: an informational letter, the NHS application, and the evaluation form. The e-mail directs students who wish to apply to do the following:
- Obtain NHS student number from Mrs. Boudreau or Mrs. Palomaki
- Print a copy of the application
- Print three copies of the evaluation form
Students should complete the tasks above ASAP if they plan to apply. The due date for all paperwork is Monday, October 5. Applications must be turned into Mrs. Boudreau or Mrs. Palomaki that day by 3:30. Please read all of these documents carefully as you go through the process.
Students should e-mail Mrs. Boudreau or Mrs. Palomaki OR go to room 119 or 216 with any questions they have about this process.

Reminder- Juniors and Seniors
Tuesday, September 22, 2020, Juniors will take the Pre-ACT and Seniors will take the ACT
Freshman and Sophomores will not have school on September 22nd.
Breakfast will be provided in our cafeteria for Juniors and Seniors that morning.
Students who are looking to prepare for this exam can sign up for ACT Test Prep Courses by clicking the button below.
In addition, students can access free ACT test prep using their Naviance account.

Attendance Info
If your student will be absent or arriving late, please contact Brenda Jung in the attendance office before 9:00 am. Written notes are not accepted.
Call or email 402-898-0413 or brenda.jung@plcschools.org
State your name, the student's name, grade, date of absence, and reason for absence.
A message may be left if the line is busy or if it is before or after school hours. Messages are checked frequently.
For appointments, please try to call at least 30 minutes before your student needs to leave school. Do not come in; your student will meet you outside.
For medical appointments, please have your student bring a doctor's note to the attendance office.
If you know of an upcoming absence, you may call or email in advance; you do not need to wait until the day of the absence to notify the attendance office.
Parents may check attendance records anytime by using the district app.

Reminder- Building is Closed to Visitors
If you should need to get something to your student, please bring it in a bag with their name and grade written on it. Someone will meet you at the door and have it delivered to your student. If you need to speak with a staff member in person please call 402-898-0400 and we can have them contact you for an appointment time. Thank you for your understanding and stay safe.
