BHS Scheduling Dates for 2024-2025
Brownsburg High School open online course enrollment for 2024-2025 will take place from January 12 – 22 for current freshman, sophomores, and juniors. Beginning on January 23rd, guidance counselors will meet with students grades 9-11 to review their schedule choices, answer questions, and make any necessary adjustments. If you have any questions, please contact your student’s team office at any time. Look for more information in this Friday's (1/12/24) BHS Team newsletters.
Team 2025 families should look for communication from the team to prepare for senior year. They will remind current junior families of details regarding graduation requirements, diploma types, scheduling for senior year, college application prep, SAT/ACT, and more.
BHS students can participate in career preparation classes through Area 31 Career Center at Ben Davis High School and at Harris Academy. Area 31 will hold an open house regarding their vocational classes on January 25, 2024, 5:30pm - 7pm at Area 31 (door 17). Current sophomore or junior students interested in Area 31 classes for next year should check out their website for more information. Contact your student's team office with questions.
Current 8th Grade Families - BHS Scheduling, AP/Dual Credit Open House - January 16
Current 8th grade families are invited to attend the AP/Dual Credit Open House on January 16th from 6–7pm at BHS in the BHS Cafe. Families and students will be able to speak with AP/Dual Credit teachers and receive information about the various classes offered at BHS. Please enter BHS at Doors 1 or 6 for this event. (This event is open to current BHS families as well.)
In February, BHS Team 2028 will visit with current 8th grade students at BEMS and BWMS. This will start the conversation about BHS class schedules for freshman year. Please look for more information in the coming weeks.
What Is Meant by "Team" at BHS?
When a student enrolls at BHS, they are assigned to a "Team" based on their grade level. The four grade level teams are led by an Assistant Principal, two Counselors, Academic Coach(es), and an Administrative Assistant. This group of adults follows the students from freshman year through graduation, creating a bond with the students in their cohort. This concept is especially helpful during the scheduling season to help guide students to class choices that are appropriate for them. CLICK HERE to find links to each BHS Team.

BCSC Food and Clothing Pantry
The BCSC Food and Clothing Pantry operates through a partnership with Gleaners Food Bank. Thanks to the hard work of community and staff volunteers and Applied Skills students in the Collaborators for Success program at BHS, the pantry continues to serve many families in Brownsburg. BCSC families have also contributed donations to help make the pantry a great resource for our community.
The pantry will serve families again on 1/18 from 3pm-5:30pm in a drive thru setting and always on the 1st, 3rd, and 5th Thursdays of the month. Visitors can pull up to door #7 at the ALPHA/Harris Academy building, 725 C South Green Street.
If you have questions about the pantry, please contact Tracy Damone at tdamone@brownsburg.k12.in.us.
