PRACTICING GRATITUDE
We shifted into spring just as we shifted into remote learning. With so much time spent inside these days, it's easy to forget about the beautiful renewal of nature taking place outside. Next time you go for a walk, consider taking a gratitude walk. Rather than focusing on your step count, look for the brightest blooms and leaves taking shape on the trees. You may find inspirational messages in windows or chalk art along the sidewalk. If you're inspired, take a picture and share the beauty with others.

Staying Open to Change
"CHANGE, a small word with a huge impact. Teaching remotely was a totally new CHANGE. At least I was not alone, everyone was experiencing this CHANGE. What finally started to work for me was emailing and talking with other teachers and sharing ideas. By the end of the first week, I felt like I had grown a lot of synapses from all the thinking and rethinking I was doing. By spring break, I felt I had systems in place and was ready to go. Yeah! Systems in place – ready to go. Ha! Who am I kidding, ready? The only thing I am ready for is CHANGE, which I know will be coming."
