“And then a hero comes along, with the strength to carry on, and you cast your fears aside and you know you can survive, so when you feel like hope is gone, look inside you and be strong, and you'll finally see the truth, that a hero lies in you.” – Mariah Carey
For me i think this means that no matter who you are there is always a hero that is inside of you and you just have to believe in yourself and bring it out.
BraveryFor my movie i chose the maze runner because Thomas still feels the urge to run out into the maze to help the gladers find a way out. This shows bravery because Thomas knows the grievers could easily kill him, but he's willing to sacrifice himself to help the group.
I chose the movie Tangled for fate because her "mother" keeps her in her tower to keep her safe, to protect her from an evil world where she will be too weak and kind-hearted to survive. Rapunzel doesn't want to escape; she just wants to satisfy her curiosity about the lights that float above the water outside her window every year on her birthday which finally leads her to her real parents with the help of Flynn and fate.
The movie epic is about a girl who wanted more than her sheltered small town could provide, but nothing, not even her love for books and knowledge, could convince her to abandon her father, which is the most important person in her life. After a freak accident outside, the girl shrinks to the size of all the little people in the woods. Once she gets over the shock of being as small as a leaf, she worries she’ll never again see her dad. She’s welcomed by the good society of people, but not the bad guys, who intend to clear out the nice population, so she finds herself focused on fighting evil rather than trying to become human again.
