Stay In-Touch with Sauk Centre Schools! (Nov. 2020)

Greetings Sauk Centre School-Community and Stakeholders!

We hope that you enjoying your this recent warm trend and are eagerly completing some projects the house or yard or getting that deer stand ready. We aware that this has been a crazy year and we want to let you know that we have not forgotten about you. We are trying to reach out to our stakeholders and public in as many avenues as possible and this seems to get high amount of traffic. You are receiving this because you registered for a class via our online registration program or have reached out to us via email. Please let us know if you do not want to receive future electronic newsletters.

At this time we scheduling many of our classes virtually or in a controlled setting when we can meet in person. This is an unprecedented time and we appreciate your patience and support as we navigate this time together.

Community Education Has Online Classes

We are excited to have added several new online classes. Some of offerings we currently have are: Driver’s Education, Instant Pot® COOK-ALONG classes and 4 Hr. Defensive Driving courses to name a few. Please bookmark the following link and check it regularly for new additions that will be added in the coming days and weeks.

Drivers Ed Classroom Training

This class will be done via Zoom. You will need to be online from 3:15-4:15 p.m. The rest of each daily session is on your own to completed. This 30 hour course is being taught by the Sauk Centre Driving School. Schedule: November 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 23, 24, 25. There will be an assignment to complete over the weekend.

Registration Deadline: November 12

In-Person Classes Update

We have scheduled some in person classes that generally have low participation and social distancing can be honored. We are planning for more activities and opportunities in the month of December but those could be subject to change. We appreciate your flexibility and patience during this unique time.

Defensive Driving 4 Hr. Refresher Course

December 3 - Improve your driving skills and if you're 55 or older, get a discount on your personal auto insurance. If you have successfully completed the 8-hour course, then you are eligible to renew your insurance certificate by taking this 4-hour course.This 4-hour refresher Defensive Driving Course, is taught by experienced, professional traffic safety instructors, including officers of the Minnesota State Patrol.

510 Art Lab Classes & Events!

The 510 ArtLab has a wide variety of classes this month that are ready for you to check out. There are some new classes for youth and adults alike. Kid Connection- School Age Child Care

Registration is now open for our Kid Connection program. You can access the link on our website and go to the RevTrak Webstore.
