This Week's News
Thank you!! Thank you for all you do for our students, families and each other! I am so thankful to be surrounded by such a dedicated and passionate team! Enjoy your holiday!!
PTA Holiday Shoppe: Click here for the PTA Holiday Shoppe Schedule. Be sure to arrive at your assigned time so everyone has a chance to preview and to shop. A flier is being emailed to families this week.Helping Hands Volunteers: If you were assigned a volunteer recently, be sure you contact them and work out their start time and schedule. Here is the link if you are unsure of who you have. If you are interested in a volunteer but didn't get one, let me know.
District Sub: The district has hired several "permanent" substitutes. Ridgeview is fortunate to welcome Casey Fordyce. She will be housed at RV and available to fill sub positions that remain unfilled each day (she cannot be scheduled ahead of time). If RV doesn't need her, she may be assigned elsewhere in the district. If no one needs her to sub, we will have her help out here at RV. If you have a need or idea, let me know!
RV Holiday Breakfast: We invite you to join us at our RV Holiday Breakfast on Friday, December 19th at 8:00. Let's share our holiday cheer!
Radon Detectors: On Monday December 1st the State will send a team from Jefferson City to perform radon testing. The testing involves placing a small detector in each ground floor room. The detector will be left in the rooms for a couple days, then retrieved. The placement of the detectors is minimally disruptive. The workers will be in each room or classroom that receives a detector just long enough to place the detector. The retrieval of the detector is similar. They will be in and out of the room or classroom as quickly as possible.
Reminders
Sams Club Visiting: We will have someone fromSams Club the next few days visiting and taking pictures. Remember this is okay and part of the assembly we will have on December 12th.
Don't forget the Team Liberty Survey. The survey must be completed by 12/05/14. It is important that we receive as many responses as possible in order to capture valuable data for Team Liberty to make relevant decisions/recommendations. If you prefer a paper copy, you get pick one up in the RV office.
