ATHS Arrow Update
Arts & Technology High School -- 8/26/2020
Starting 2020-21 with Comprehensive Distance Learning
Dear ATHS Students, Families, and Community -
Welcome to the 2020-2021 School Year at Arts & Technology High School! This year offers a unique start, but we are excited to connect with you to ensure that you and your student are prepared, supported, and ready for an exciting year of learning.
As you may know, we are starting the year in the Comprehensive Distance Learning (CDL) model, following direction from Oregon Governor Kate Brown and the Oregon Department of Education to keep our students, staff, and community healthy during the COVID-19 pandemic. In CDL students will learn from home and home and teachers will host LIVE lessons on Zoom and have learning activities on Google Classroom. Our teachers and staff are working hard to prepare for teaching and learning in CDL to support each student's success as a learner and young adult. Our staff is here to support you and your student ... please reach out to us to let us know how we can help.
Take care!
- Saskia Dresler, ATHS Principal

Outreach to Families & Students
We are beginning outreach this week to every family in our school, to reconnect with families and students to ensure strong home-school communication and that we are aware of any ways we can support you and your student with their learning. Additionally, we are reaching out to make sure that you have computer devices and internet access to start the year. ATHS School Counselor/Social Worker Cheryl Wilson and ATHS Learning Specialist/Student Success Coordinator Kate Gaede are making phone calls to each ATHS student and family. They look forward to talking with you!
