FROM THE HEAD'S DESK
As Year 11 start their Mock Examinations, we have received their IGCSE English Language results that are very pleasing. 12 A* s so well done to those individuals. Thank you to the boys who led assembly for me on Monday, reminding the school of our 3 for 3 Charity week and the ways that we can raise money.
On Monday I travelled to Rushall Farm with Year 7 and was delighted with their engagement and behaviour; however, I have had to speak with them about the 'prank' of removing items from bags and hiding books etc. from each other. This is causing angst for those affected by this and time wasting for the staff. The boys are clear that it must stop immediately.
It is a busy time for ISA competitions, we have brought home medals from the Cross Country and U14 Hockey and have the U16 and U14 Seven a side rugby tournaments next week. Good luck to them and to the Scullers racing on Friday at the National Sculling Head.
It was pleasing to see so many Year 9 parents on Tuesday for a very productive Options Evening. Most questions were answered meaning that provisional choices can now be made.

Lost Property - We are still searching for some lost sports kit items, belonging to Henry Wheeler and James Lambert which have gone astray in school(all named). It would be much appreciated if parents could check laundry baskets/ kit bags etc. We are also searching for one black slip-on school shoe (approx. size 6,) someone went home after sport yesterday (year 7 and 8 ) wearing a pair of shoes that look the same but in fact are not a pair! (One lonely right shoe is awaiting collection at reception) please check you have a matching pair!!
Lost Kit Bag We are also searching for a full kit bag belonging to Sam Nash, all help to find this would be really appreciated. Thank you
Labels on Kit – It would be most helpful if all clothing, bags and pencil cases could be labelled. Each Claires Court Kit Bag has a plastic pocket with a piece of paper accessed from inside the bag – please put your son’s name on this – much quicker to see who it belongs too.
Sainsbury's Active Kids Vouchers - we are collecting if you would like to send these through to the office.
