Cordelia Hills Update

4/23/2019

Message from the Principal

Wow! What an event last Wednesday evening. Multicultural Night was well attended and our students, families, and staff did a great job displaying the diversity of our community in interesting and unique ways. Bravo and thank you. The event made me proud to be your principal.

State Testing is a week away. We start with 4th grade next Monday, April 29th and the rest of the grades follow suit in the following weeks. It is REALLY important that you have your student here each day and that they stay for the entire day. If you have a unique need, please communicate with the teacher early.

District Calendar: The 2019-2020 calendar is out. Check it out here. Please do your best to plan vacations, appointments, times away from school around the school calendar. We need every student here everyday that they are healthy.

CAASPP is a California State Summative Assessment for all students starting in 3rd grade. Students test in English-Language Arts and Math. 5th grade students are also assessed in science.
