WEEKLY AGENDA
The weekly Agenda is a projection of what will be accomplished in every class but could be subject to change depending on the needs of the students.
Language Arts - Mrs. Centeno Vega
Monday: CH 4 Discussion HW: Review CH 3 and 4 Notes Quiz Tomorrow
Tuesday: CH 3 and CH 4 Multiple Quiz HW: Review CH 5
Wednesday: CH 5 Discussion HW: Read 6 and write a summary
Thursday: CH 6 Discussion HW: Read CH 7 and write a summary
Friday: CH 6 Flip Book Activity HW: Review CH 7 and Read CH 8 and write a summary
Due Dates:
Students will have a short multiple choice quiz on Tuesday, they will get 2 attempts to obtain a passing score.
Students will be completing Summaries for CH 6, CH 7 and CH 8, all these will be due on Friday, March 29th.
Students will begin to create a Flip Book and will have two class periods (Friday and Monday) to complete, this will be due Monday, April 1st.
Students are responsible to take notes on each Chapter which will be helpful when completing the Writing Prompt Quizzes.
Students will be submitting completing a Blog on Schoology for the assigned Chapters.
Important Information:
1. Weekly Agenda is a projection of what will be done in class. The work done/discussed in class as well as the Homework is determined based on the students's/group's needs.
2. As students begin the writing process it is crucial for them to be attentive, comply with the instructions given, read the assigned stories/speeches/passages, come prepared for in-class discussions and take notes and complete all homework given. Please ask your student to show you their work and progress.
3. Students who do not come prepared to class or without their homework completed will be emailing their parents on that day, this will help keep parents informed of their progress.
4. Morning tutoring will be offered from 7:25-7:40 am on M-W-TH-F.
5. Students who are absent are responsible to come in during morning tutoring to get updated on any work missed and set up dates for make up assignments/ test/quizzes.
6. Students are expected to come to class prepared by bringing sharpened pencils, paper, Class assigned book or any other reading material.

Assignments not completed during class will be homework and should be completed by the start of the next class unless otherwise stated.
Information:
- The schedule may change as needed.
- Students are expected to come to class prepared by bringing sharpened pencils, paper, assigned readings, journals, binders, and charged computer. Please check that your student has these supplies for school.
- Students are responsible for taking any quiz/test or turn in assignments when they are absent. They are to talk to their teachers and set up a date and time.
- Students may come in on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays before school to get help.

Please ask your student about what we do in science class each day, Students are expected to come to class prepared by bringing science workbook, pencils, highlighters, binder, and charged computer.
Students who are absent are responsible for coming in during Morning Help. Morning Help will be available Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 7:25-7:40 for students to get extra help or work on missing assignments. The library is also available in the mornings for students wanting to work before school.
