Principal's Message
Congratulations for having successfully maneuvered through Week #1 of E-Learning! I know that parents and guardians (and students!) are working as hard as our teachers and staff to make learning a priority and valuable during these unprecedented times. As you are aware, schools will now be closed through April 30. We have several weeks ahead of us to further explore and master this new territory in education and I appreciate your support and commitment. Please feel free to email me or your child’s teachers at any time.
Please know that I have all of our families in my daily thoughts. Each Lincoln family, each D57 employee, and every person in your neighborhood has their own unique set of complications, beside serious health concerns, that burden them during this difficult and frightening crisis. The District 57 community will continue to work together to manage and pull through by practicing patience, thoughtfulness, and selflessness. Each day is an accomplishment and we will get there!
Don’t forget that Thursday, April 9, is an “early dismissal day” and on-line school closes at noon! There is NO on-line school on Friday, April 10, so we will “see” you back on-line on Monday, April 13. Enjoy the break and we are all hoping for sunshine to make the weekend just that much more enjoyable!
