Game On! Let's Create Champions!
Our Theme for this year is Game On! Let's Create Champions!
Thank you for your amazing attitude on Wednesday. Congratulations to the Red team that won. As we move together in this journey, remember to celebrate each step of the way and stay focused on the learning and student growth. We can do this together.
Each kid deserves a champion and that champion is you!

As the admin. team checks lesson plans on Monday mornings, this is what we are looking for:
1. Content Objective
2. Language Objective
3. Essential Questions
4. Daily Lesson/ Activity-(This must be for daily lessons and not the entire week.)
a. What will the students be doing?
b. What materials/ resources will be utilized?
c. How will the teacher be modeling and supporting?
d. What engagement strategies will be utilized?
5. Assessment- How will learning be assessed, whether formative or summative?
6. Restorative Practices (This needs to be pre-planned. At what time of the day are you doing your sparks, connections? Here is the schedule when each grade level is planned to do circles.

Student Progress Goal and CIP
Here is the goal that needs to be included:
Goal 1:
Student Learning - Profound learning for students occurs when we provide meaningful and relevant educational opportunities. In LISD, we are preparing the dreamers to be the doers by developing engaged, collaborative learners who are equipped for success.
Performance Objective 2:
I ensure learning is based on defined standards: Provide meaningful experiences in academic and non-academic areas; Measure learning outcomes and adjust instruction based on student needs.
Day Cards (Posted Daily Schedules)
Please remember that Day Cards (posted daily schedules) are one component of Improvement Plan Goal 5.1: Objective-driven daily lesson plans with formative assessments.
IStation Check-ins
Remember before the meeting:
- Print and bring your classroom distribution report graph and your ISIP report.
- Identify how many of your students are on each range.
- Complete the Istation data on the LVES Spotlight Report. Color code by Tier. I highlighted on yellow the column you need to complete.
During the meeting:

Share 3 things that you can CELEBRATE based on your Istation data and running records for your class.
2 things that you have been doing in RESPONSE to your Istation data and running records for your class.
Create a goal for your Tier I, Tier II and Tier III students for the next month.
Linguistic Accommodations
Good morning teachers,
It is time to complete your BOY linguistic accommodations forms in Aware. You will need to fill out a form for each LEP student in your class. Please have this complete by next Friday, September 27th. If you need assistance, Mrs. Rowland and I will be available that day in the Think Spot during your conference times. Please bring your laptop and let us know if you have any questions. Snacks will be provided! 😊
Thanks,
