End of the Year Activities

ABC Countdown is heading into its last week. One classroom elected to research wildlife. Students wrote down their opinions about everything from an arctic fox to a tiger then researched their animal to get facts. Check out some of the wildlife they elected to research on the school's Facebook page.
  • May 28: Sprague library books are due
  • June 3: Early Childhood and Kindergarten last day of school (return iPad, case, cord charger)

  • Friday, June 4: In-person learners in grades 1 and 2 attend school from 8:15 to 11:00 a.m. (return iPad, case, keyboard, cord, charger)

  • Friday, June 4: Optional school visit for remote kindergartners from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. for songs, art, and games. Parents are responsible for getting students to school and should drop off and pick up students in the front of the school using the circle drive. Students should bring a filled water bottle. (return iPad, case, cord, charger)
  • Friday, June 4: Remote learners in grades 1 and 2 attend school at home 8:45 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.

  • Friday, June 4: Optional school visit for remote first- and second-graders from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. for songs, art, and games.   • Tuesday, June 8: First day of D103 Summer School

  • Wednesday, June 9: Second grade game night has been moved to 5 p.m. and ALL second-graders are invited to attend. Families should bring a game to play.

Pick Up Medicine from Nurse

Parents are reminded to pick up their child's medication by the end of the school year or it will be safely disposed of by June 22, 2021. Those students who are attending summer school can have their medication sent to Daniel Wright once the parent notifies the nurse's office by calling 847-945-6665 or emailing chorvath@d103.org. Parents must pick up their medication at the end of summer school.

Lost and Found

If your child did not attend the last days of school and did not clean out his/her locker or classroom space, please be sure to visit the pick up table located in the front hallway at Sprague School. All items remaining will be disposed of or donated on July 1.

Brief Survey About Pandemic School Year

Please take a moment to provide feedback to the district about teaching and learning during COVID-19 by completing this survey. This survey should be completed separately for each child enrolled in District 103. Results from this survey will be used in creating goals for the 2021-2022 school year. Please complete the survey by Thursday, June 10.

Board of Education Meeting

The next regular Board meeting will occur on Tuesday, June 8, 2021 at 7:00 p.m. The notice and agenda can be found on the District 103 Board meeting website page.

Returning Student Registration is Underway

Returning student registration for preschool through seventh-grade is now underway. (You do not need to register students entering kindergarten.) Please register through Unified Classroom. Please visit the D103 Registration website page for necessary documents and for fax cover sheets.

103 Club Accepting Campers

Camp 103 Club is open to all D103 students. There are still openings in the camp. Students do not need to be in summer school to attend camp. If your child is not in summer school, please drop your child off at Sprague at 12:15 p.m. for the start of camp. Please visit Camp 103 Club for more information.


Children do NOT need to participate in 103 Club during the school year to attend Camp 103 Club. Camp 103 Club operates after District 103 summer school hours and operates out of Sprague School. Parents will need to pick up from Camp 103 Club. Please email 103 Club Director Robynn Bryant at rbryant@d103.org for more information.

4th of July Festivities

Lincolnshire takes back summer with a 4th of July celebration.

Lincolnshire Art Festival

Plan to visit the 23rd Annual Lincolnshire Art Festival at the Village Green (100 Village Green Drive) on June 5 and 6. Art Festival hours on both days are 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. Free admission and on-site parking. Advanced reservations are encouraged and the State of Illinois safety guidelines must be followed.
