The PEN Happenings
What's the buzz in 6th grade PEN?
Robotics
Here in sixth grade PEN, we are learning about robotics. Lately, we have been programing robots with different sensors such as; light sensors, touch sensors, and color sensors. Just recently our class is working on missions for our robotics competiton.
Goal time!
Every week we have goal time. During goal time we create our own lesson plan according to goals we created at the beginning of the year.
Building Legos!!!
We built Legos for the robotics competition that will occur on Jan. 20, 2016, at Doyle. We set up the trash trek field for our robot to complete tasks that will earn us points. Earning a high amount of points will let us win!
Sharing robots!
Loghan brought in his EV3 robot, Kirby, to share its cool programs with us. Both 6th grade groups enjoyed learning how Kirby functions!
