Suicide/Homicide Prevention and Self -Harm
Parents the JISD Counseling Department cares about our students. We have protocols for suicide/ homicide ideation and self-harm that we follow to keep our JISD students safe. Students and parents we also want you to help us and report any items that you see or hear from one of our students you could be saving someone’s life. You can email your teacher, counselor, or principal. However, if you feel that it is an urgent matter please contact one of the following:

The priority deadline was March 20 to have all 3 complete. If you still need to complete #2 and # 3 please complete them as soon as possible as students who submit will be reviewed on a space available basis. College Counselors will be scheduling FASFA Zoom meetings next week if you need assistance. More details to come. If you have any questions contact your college counselor and check their website for more information.
