1. Your Advisor is contacting your at-risk “red” students on a bi-weekly rotation with 4-5 other Homerooms.
2. If your Advisor comes across a truant student, she will attempt to make contact and send a “24-hour/no contact” Kmail/email to the family. If they do not respond, she will notify you that the student is ready to be placed on the truancy tracker by your Lead.
3. Your Advisor will make every effort to engage your red students. This includes phone calls to all contact lines in TVS, K-mails, emails, texts (if necessary) and Mandatory Advisement sessions in Class Connect. If students remain unengaged despite multiple attempts to reach and work with the family, and/or if students miss 2 Mandatory Advisement sessions, your Advisor will notify you that this student is ready to be placed on the FAST Tracker.
4. When an advisor emails you a copy of the Compliancy Note with the top portion filled out please complete the remaining ORN-related items on the form, post in TVS and notify your Lead that this student is ready to be placed on the tracker. Also, please send the family a Kmail that they have been referred for FASL support.
