Easley Weekly Update
Everything You Need to Know For The Coming Week
October 11, 2020
A Note from the principal
Hello Easley families,
I hope you all had a good weekend and are ready for the week ahead. Week 9 is upon us!
Remote Learning - Looking Forward
Please click on this link to view updates for the second quarter regarding screen time, Wellness Wednesday and scheduling. I had intended to put out the complete schedule in today's message but we received additional guidelines late last week that required a few more tweaks. The schedule will be sent out per the district timeline on Tuesday of this week. Please know there are very minor tweaks in the schedule with the biggest changes being additional breaks.
Teacher Workday
This Friday is the end of the first quarter. Next Monday is Teacher Workday. Teachers will be scheduling virtual parent teacher conferences and will meet with every family over the next few weeks.
Media Center Updates
Ms. Hartley is seeking feedback on the library curbside pickup program from parents who have used the service as well as those who have not. This data can help her make adjustments as needed and inform decisions moving forward. She is holding a drawing for a $10 Starbucks gift card for everyone who fills out the survey and includes their email. Your email is not necessary for the survey, only if you would like to be in the drawing.
If you want to win the gift card, please fill out the survey by 10/19. The winner will be contact via the email they provide.
