The movement of tides create oceanic currents, these happen because of the gravitational pull on the Earth from the Sun and Moon.

Besides the gravitational pull, wind causes currents to move the way they do.

Thermo-haline Circulation also causes tides because the process of it has to do with the water density and temperature.

Does the Earth's tilt have anything to do with the currents?

How does temperature affect currents?

Affect on Me

The currents affect the everyday weather where I live and everywhere else in the world. I depend on weather because I don't think I'd want to wear ski pants in July unless it got that cold.
