Our mission is to empower and inspire a community of lifelong learners and leaders!
Dear Pleasant Valley Families,
Thank you for all of the emails, notes, flowers, and treats in honor of our PV teachers for Teacher Appreciation Week! They indeed are an extraordinary team!
A special thank you to our Pleasant Valley PTA organizers and volunteers for making our Spring Fun Run, Scholastic Book Fair, and PV-Cation great events for our learners. Also, on thank you for providing a wonderful lunch for our staff last Friday. It was a great way to end the Teacher Appreciation Week!
Below is a link to a survey to get responses from our families to try and help with rebuilding our PTA units. Parma Council of PTA's Survey (google.com)
As always, I want to thank you for your partnership with Pleasant Valley to make it the wonderful school that it is. We are so appreciative of all of our Pleasant Valley families. Should you ever have any questions, concerns, or just a terrific idea you would like to share, especially about improving parent involvement, please email me at bokas@parmacityschools.org or call the main office at 440.885.2480 weekdays from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm.

Class Parties Friday, June 3rd
Information to be communicated by individual teachers who are planning to hold a class party. PVLA Parties for classes wishing to hold one (afternoon) – Information to be communicated by individual teachers who are planning to have a class party.
4th Grade Clap Out Friday, June 3rd
As in the past, we want to celebrate our 4th graders finishing up their elementary careers at PV and moving to Middle School!
Parents will be permitted to participate in the clap-out but must remain outside of the building. Parents who wish to participate will be asked to park their cars and line the walkway and front loop at 2:45 pm. 4th Graders will walk out, follow a designated route and walk back into the building to gather their belongings before being dismissed from their normal route at 3:30 pm.
4th Grade Students and Chromebooks
Our 4th-grade students will be taking their devices with them on to 5th grade.
To support this process the PCSD Department of Information Systems (DIS) will assist us with inventorying each fourth-grade student's Chromebooks and ensure that every 4th-grade student has a case and charger. Before the end of the year our DIS would come to each 4th-grade classroom, inventory the devices that the students are currently using, then provide each a case and charger. This would ensure these students have the proper device assigned in the 5th grade.
