Lewiston-Porter Class of 2022,

Congratulations on a job well done! We know that the past 2 ½ years have been difficult and trying, as we’ve endured a global pandemic. Through it all, you’ve continued to Aim Higher to achieve your goals and aspirations. Please go forth as Lancer Leaders, who rise above injustice and barriers to forge your own path forward. The Lew-Port Family is extremely proud of the amazing Lancers that each of you have become.

Senior Class Day Breakfast

Tuesday, June 14th, 8-9am

  • Senior students should report to the High School Cafeteria by 8:00 AM for a light breakfast.
  • Senior Chromebooks should be returned to Mrs. Faut upon entering the Cafeteria.

Senior Walk

  • Senior students will begin a journey through their Lancer past at the Primary Education Center (PEC) before walking through both the Intermediate Education Center (IEC), and Middle School before returning to the High School.

Class of 2022 Senior Parade

Tuesday, June 14th, 11am-12:15pm

Lewiston-Porter Community

    • Senior Day Car Parade Route:

    • Parade will proceed from the High School to the District Office along campus roadway

    • Cars will drive across campus towards district office before turning RIGHT onto Creek Road (Rt-18)

    • The parade will travel on Creek Rd. before turning LEFT onto Route 86 Blairville Road

    • The parade will continue down Rt. 86 Blairville Road before turning LEFT onto Main Street in the Village of Youngstown

    • The parade will continue on 18-F towards the Village of Lewiston

    • After leaving Center Street and the Village of Lewiston, the parade will proceed to 8th Street and Kiwanis Park

    • Senior Picnic will be held at Kiwanis Park

Class of 2022 Senior Prom

Friday, June 17th, 6-10pm

500 Pearl Street

Buffalo, NY

  • The Prom will begin at 6:00 pm and end at 10:00 pm.

  • There is no After-Prom Program scheduled for this year’s Senior Prom (instead, all seniors are eligible to win prizes throughout the night at the prom)

Class of 2022 Commencement Rehearsal

Thursday, June 23rd, 1pm

450 South 4th Street

Lewiston, NY

  • Rehearsal is MANDATORY for all graduating seniors.

    • Graduating seniors will receive their cap, gown, and Commencement tickets at rehearsal.

    • There will be no decorating of the caps! If you show up to graduation with your cap decorated, you will be given a plain one to wear.

Class of 2022 Commencement Ceremony

Friday, June 24th, 7-8:30pm

450 South 4th Street

Lewiston, NY

  • Each graduate will be given 7 tickets:

    • 1 ticket for the graduate

    • 6 tickets for guests of the graduate

    • Seating will be first come, first serve.

    • Graduates should not arrive at the amphitheater any later than 6:15 pm

    • Other Artpark rules and regulations

      • No bags are allowed, this includes camera bags and large purses - the only exception is a small clutch wallet 4 1/2" x 5 1/2”

      • The single seats in the middle are reserved for the graduates, the remainder of the seats are general admission.

      • Our 71st Commencement Ceremony will be live streamed at: TBD

      • Graduates must adhere to our Commencement dress code:

      • Students should wear slacks (boys) or dress/slacks (girls) and shirt-tie or blouse under graduation gown. Regular shoes must be worn instead of sneakers; the stage is high and you will need to climb the stairs; choose appropriate heels/shoes.

Closing Message

The entire Lew-Port Family is looking forward to celebrating these Senior related events with our graduates and their families. We know that the last 2 ½ years have been difficult for all of us as we have dealt with the COVID pandemic. Through it all, we have relied on each other as members of the Lew-Port Family to persevere as we have continued to Aim Higher.
