First Holy Communion and May Crowning
SHORTS SEASON
According to the Parent/Student Handbook, students will be allowed to start wearing shorts to school on the first school day in May. With that being said, if the temperature is below 60 degrees, we want students to wear long pants. Over 60 degrees and shorts may be worn. Please find specific guidelines below:
- Navy Blue or Beige.
- Khaki dress-style shorts
- Shorts should be no longer than the knee and no shorter than 2 inches from the knee.
- Capri pants may not be worn.
- Skorts may be worn, but they must be no shorter than 2 inches above the knee.
- Belts must be worn with all shorts that have a belt loop in grades 5-8.
Boys:

ATHLETICS UPDATES
The Athletics Board is looking for potential officers for next year's board.
The offices up for election this year are vice president and secretary (a two year office), as well as boys' and girls' representatives (one year position). The roles of these offices include helping at Athletics events, attending 3 to 4 board meetings per year, and helping the coaches with clerical take like uniform handout, etc.
Our current board is experienced and would be willing to help transition you into office to ensure a successful continuation of our Athletics program into the future.
Elections will be held at the Athletics banquet in mid May.

Current Students' parents: Remember, if you are RE-ENROLLING your student, you must use the snapcode provided to you in your email. If you are having trouble finding this email, please contact the office. DO NOT Enroll your student as a NEW student.
Registration Fee: Your Registration is not complete without paying the registration fee which is $150 per family. Part of your registration fee covers your $40 FACTS Grant & Aid Application fee, which all families are required to fill out in order to receive financial assistance.

HASA NOMINATIONS AND ELECTIONS
If you are wanting to get more involved, consider joining our Home and School Association Planning Committee. HASA not only provides great events for our students but also helps support our students. Please consider nominating yourself or someone else to join our HASA Committee. We are always looking for willing people to help with this.
Nomination forms will be available upon request in the school office and will need to be turned in before our final meeting on May 17th.

FINAL HASA MEETING TO SCHEDULE OUR END-OF-THE-YEAR ACTIVITIES is Tuesday, May 17, 2022; right after school (Supervision will be provided for students whose parents are staying for the meeting). We will be planning and discussing:

Outing is Friday, June 3, at Riverbend Golf Course.

EUCHARISTIC REVIVAL
The Mission: To renew the church by enkindling a living relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ in the Holy Eucharist.
The Vision: A movement of Catholics across the US, healed, converted, formed,& unified by an encounter with Jesus in the Eucharist - & sent out in mission “for the life of the world.”
Save the date for a family-friendly Eucharistic Procession and Festival on the afternoon of Sunday, June 19 in Warsaw, IN as our diocese launches the three-year Eucharistic Revival for the Catholic Church in the United States, renewing devotion and belief in the Real Presence of Jesus in the Eucharist. The procession will begin at Sacred Heart Parish at 2:30 p.m. with music and prayer before departing at 3 p.m. on a 2.8 mile route, concluding with Benediction and a festival at Our Lady of Guadelupe Parish.
