During this intensive one day beginners workshop discover with Nicola Brown how to create a beautiful felt picture or table mat using a selection of soft and tactile natural fibres. Starting with wool, learn how to lay out the structural base then have fun adding surface colour, texture and decoration using a selection of silk, bamboo, tercel and other embellishing fibres. Each participant will finish the day with a beautifully felted flat felt picture or table mat and a good working knowledge of how to confidently repeat this process at home.
