Technology in the EES Classroom
Digital Learning Day is Friday!!! : )
I hope you all have some kind of activity planned for this Friday—even if it’s just doing some kind of PD hour this week—working with students on a project, etc. If you do something, please go to this website and register your event. We’d like to have lots of representation from Madison County for DLD.
Thanks!
Technology Tools
For Math Teachers:
Here's a story about an App called "Photomath." It isn't perfect, but it often does what it says (especially in lower-level math).

- I was looking for an online collaborative, sticky note program, whereas each student could see and update a collaborative sticky-note board.
These are all collaborative brainstorming tools.
Padlet (www.padlet.com) is an option. It requires setting up your own account (teacher account), but students can easily access it through a provided website once you set up your “wall” without the need of setting up their own accounts. Padlet essentially provides a blank site for students to post information to.
Also:
· http://en.linoit.com/ is a good one (you can do more than just sticky text, but it does that well).

It’s an article alerting you to digital drama to watch out for this school year with your students. Might reveal some tools you didn’t know about.

Found a new tool today! Explee Animated announcements (...or whatever). Cool!!!
Check out my short announcement—with “zero” editing—so excuse any spelling errors, etc. Thought you might enjoy using it in the future.
(there is a “subliminal” message in this) <grin>
