The 3 questions about R.S
By Brycen Stocks
Structures of the R.S
There are 3 major parts of the respiratory system: the Airway, the lungs, and the muscles of respiration. The airway, which includes the nose, mouth, pharynx, larynx, trachea, bronchi, and bronchioles, carries air between the lungs and the body's exterior.
Question 2
Importance of the R.S as it relates to immunity
The immune system is within every organ in our body, including the lungs to defend it from foreign material, such as toxic inhalants, allergens, infections, etc. Also if your immune system is weak then your body will not be able to fight off infectious bacteria that comes in your body when you breath. That is how the R.S relates to the immune system
How do you relate the body's use of nutrients to the R.S
The nutrients you eat helps you build up your immune system which fights off infectious bacteria that gets in your respiratory system when you breath. If your body does not have enough nutrients your immune system will not fight off the bacteria in your respiratory system so therefor you will get sick. That is why nutrients is important to all systems not just the respiratory system.
