BCCA MESSENGER December, 2020
Harmoniously blending the work of redemption and education

BCCA Families,
As we just passed Thanksgiving, I know BCCA is thankful for all of the support we get from the church. We are also thankful that God has been leading our school through this year and kept our school COVID free! We are also thankful to all of you parents who continue to support the school! We have been tremendously blessed with everything this year and we continue to be appreciative of everyone.
We are coming into winter and get to celebrate Christmas this month! 2020 has been a rough year for the world, but as Christmas approaches, we can be reminded of the birth of our savior! He entered the world in rough conditions and obviously had a rough ending to his life here on earth so He knows what the world is going through. An important lesson to teach the students is that Christ knows what we go through during rough times because He was human too. The follow up lesson is that suffering is not the end, the resurrection and ascension to heaven is. We will no longer suffer then and it is what we hope is coming soon after a year like 2020.
We hope the ending of everyone's 2020 goes well and we all get to enjoy Christmas and remember that Christ will return and will take our suffering away.
So Christ, having been offered once to bear the sins of many, will appear a second time, not to deal with sin but to save those who are eagerly waiting for him. Hebrews 9:28

You are invited to join us for a night of worshipful praise, on December 12 at 6:00 pm at Central Church. The Big Cove Christian Academy students will be presenting the story of Christ's birth titled "Noel". As we come to the end of this year, let’s take time to reflect on all that God has given us. We are in the process of live streaming the program for extended family and friends to enjoy. The link will be provided at a later date. Light refreshments will be served following the program in Central Hall.

Let Jesus Light Up Your Life
My wife Pam and I just returned from our camping Thanksgiving Holiday vacation. We enjoyed the outdoors, picture-perfect weather, good food and spending time with family and friends. The highlight of our day began at sundown as I gathered kindling and started a fire. Hours and hours were spent just sitting by the fire, telling stories and watching the flames as they flicked, twisted, and turned.
What is so captivating about the light of a burning fire?
Perhaps because God is Light (1 John 1:5).
And, because Jesus is the Light of the world (John 9:5).
One of the beauties of Christmas is light—lights everywhere. We were home from vacation only hours before Pam began taking out Christmas lights to decorate for the season. We love it!
As you enjoy this season of light, I invite you to see the Son, God’s Son, the real Light, Jesus Christ. Jesus came to Light Up your life with joy and peace. He came to earth to bring you God’s love and the hope of eternal life. His Light is the brightest, the best, the most glorious, inspiring and life saving you’ll ever see. His Light is Life, abundant and eternal. So, look for it, believe and receive.
Love Always,
Pastor Randy Mills
