Summer Enrollment
All Creighton School front offices are open and accepting new enrollment applications during the summer.
Our front offices are open and ready to serve you and your family. During the summer our schools will be open Monday-Thursday from 7:30 A.M. - 4:30 P.M. Please help us keep you and our staff safe by practicing social distancing, staying 6ft apart, and staying home all together if you are feeling sick or have a fever. Our front offices are taking measures to disinfect our offices regularly and have hand sanitizer stations available for yours and our use.
You can always reach a staff member by phone too. If you would prefer, we have online enrollment available on our website by visiting www.CreightonSchools.org. If you have questions about the process someone can walk you through it. After you enroll online, your school will contact you to complete any missed or required forms.
Ending on a High Note
The end of the school year looked a little different this year. Our schools did a fantastic job coordinating fun, creative and virtual ways to honor our 8th grade students, celebrating our band students, continuing the tradition of field day and even hosting a virtual talent show.
Band students from across the district sent in videos and participated on WebEx videos creating synchronized and solo concerts. Kudos to band teachers Michael What, James Diaz, and Jessie Demaree for coordinating Creighton's first virtual band concert.
Monte Vista hosted their first ever virtual talent show! Teachers and students performed their best talents from music performances to dance routines, what a fun and innovative way to connect with our families, students, and community!
In light of the school closures, our Phenomenal Physical Education Teachers from Biltmore Prep, Monte Vista and Papago joined forces to make Field Day happen in 2020! Field Day is a significant day for our students and our staff and we felt that in these incredibly challenging times, this national event was a unique way to stay connected as a community and support one another in a fun and meaningful way.
Our Physical Education teachers’ creativity came in handy when it came to planning a Virtual Field Day for the CSD community. They created announcements, a rap song, and flyers to promote the event. Our teachers also created videos on how to use common household items to use in a variety of activities. They all posted videos modeling the activities, so our students, parents, and colleagues had sufficient time to prepare for the challenge! Thank you, coach Ziskovsky, coach Gholston and coach Hall for bringing such an important event to our students’ home during these unprecedented times!

2020 Census is LIVE!
The 2020 Census will determine how over $700 billion in federal government resources will be distributed each year into the next decade to states and localities.
The 2020 Census count will impact the federal funds Creighton School District receives each year for critical programs and services, including:
- Special Education
- Parent Liaisons
- Reading Interventionists
- Instructional Coaches
- Summer School
- Professional Learning
Census data determines where schools, roads, hospitals, child care centers, senior centers and other services should be built. Programs that rely on data and allocations derived from the census also include Medicaid, Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), Section 8, Medicare Part B and State Children's Health Insurance Program (CHIP).
Census data is used for appointment of Congressional seats and redistricting at all levels of the government. The Census is indispensable for monitoring discrimination and the enforcement of a broad range of civil rights laws.
You can take the Census online by clicking here: https://2020census.gov
