LIBERTY POINT ELEMENTARY
Principal's Newsletter
A MESSAGE FROM THE PRINCIPAL:
Welcome to Year 2017!
Our New Year starts a new semester and it is the time of the year for reflections and resolutions! This is the perfect time to consider what is going well in your child’s learning.
Ask your child about their learning goals. Is your child able to identify what steps need to happen to ensure the goals are met? Talk about ways to be successful, address concerns and determine how you can help at home. As we welcome the New Year, make an effort to hold your child accountable for setting and reaching learning goals. If you have not had a conference with your child’s teacher, please request one. When families work closely with teachers, it makes the established learning goals even more attainable.
I challenge you to set a goal to become more involved at Liberty Point ES by joining our PTA, volunteering within our building, or even attending a School Governance Council meeting. We would love to partner with you in an effort to support the students and teachers of Liberty Point Elementary.
See you soon!

GEORGIA PARENT SURVEY
The Georgia Parent Survey is modeled after the student survey and contains 24 questions. Parents may complete the survey using their personal computer, smartphones or tablet. All parents are encouraged to participate in the Georgia Parent Survey because the data will be used as part of the calculation of the School Climate Star Rating. Survey responses are anonymous and will be submitted directly to the Georgia Department of Education for analysis. Results from the Georgia Parent Survey will not be available to the public and will not be posted online. The URL address for the Georgia Parent Survey is posted below.
