Food
The Harpy Eagle hold a high position in in the food chain. They are equivalent in status to the jaguar and the anaconda. They prey on similar food a lot larger than them like deer, birds, monkeys, sloths, snakes, and foxes. Most of these food are for their offspring.(PERU)
Habitat

Adaptation
Unlike other eagles, the Harpy eagle does not its eye site while hunting prey. Instead, it uses its excellent sense of hearing. Even at he slightest rustle of leaves it swoops down and its wing shape increases its agility and snatches the prey. It's feathers are similar so the branches so it's unnoticeable. While soaring on the canopy it makes a long screeching noise (ARK).
