Parents,

I would like to extend my extreme gratitude to both the parents and PTO of Rosewood. From the time and efforts of everyone, Rosewood was able to raise $27,910!! This is a tremendous effort from everyone and this will go to directly supporting our Rosewood Eagles. The Fun Run yesterday yielded a ton of smiles, sweaty foreheads and a slimed principal. Thank you so much to everyone who made this a wildly successful event!

Tomorrow 9-22-23 will be an early dismissal. We will start dismissing students at 11:00 am. If you are changing your student(s) transportation please make sure you send an email to the teacher (preferred would be tonight). Please send it as early as possible as the teachers don't have access to email all morning long. Advanced notice also ensures that we receive and can chart the changes.

If your student is being picked up by a different adult please make sure they have been identified in writing and have an ID or car/walker tag. Please know that we want to ensure safety on days that have many changes.

Call for nominations! The Rosewood Elementary School Improvement Council (SIC) seeks nominations for parent members for the 2023-24 school year. The SIC is composed of parents, teachers, and community members and serves as an advisory group to the principal. The SIC is focused on school improvements and providing assistance in developing the annual report to parents. Nominations are due by Sept. 28.

Interested Parents, please complete this form. All those nominated will be contacted prior to the first meeting in October.

Sept. 22- Student Half-Day/Teacher Professional Development Day Lunch

----------Throughout the year, the PTO provides lunch for teachers on professional development days. Sign up to volunteer for future teacher luncheons

Sept. 28- Spirit Night at Boca Grande (mention Rosewood and a percentage of sales will be donated back to the PTO)

Oct. 4- International Walk to School Day
