15 minute Facebook Product Events

Hello to our new team members! And welcome to the guide that will help you break down how to do an effective 15 minute Facebook product event. It's time to start sharing your love for these products!
**We want to make sure we are clear that these training resources have been developed by us, as Independent Consultants, and are all based off of information and training we received from ENVP, Jessica Champagne, about the 15 minute system that she and her team created and shared in the summer of 2020**
Ok, lets jump in! Please refer to our training resources attached below, to help you prepare for your first event! This is very detail oriented because there are many tiny steps that can help to make or break your success and we don't want to leave you feeling confused about anything. But there WILL be a learning curve, so if you feel overwhelmed, just make a commitment to the process, work through it one step at a time and remember that your sponsor and/or VP is also here to guide you!
Start by watching Kait and Em's short Intro Video and if you have not viewed the training they did for Canada's National Conference in September, that is now attached here as well. These videos will walk you through the event concept and discuss important details to note in order to optimize your results when diving into these events!

Once you have done that, take a look at our Step by Step process below. It will walk you through setting up the event and shares specific language for your event posts and live presentation. All images are current and can be found at the end of this document. We will make updates to include changes, as we launch new products and/or release new deals and incentives- keep this in mind and come back to check in regularly so that you are staying up to date.
**To save photos from the Smore Document:
From your computer, you must first left-click on the image to open it in a separate window. Then, left-click on the CENTER of the image and drag it to your desktop to save.
From your phone, you must tap the image to open it in a separate window. Then, tap on the CENTER of the image and choose Add to Photos.
STEP ONE- THE ASK
**Whenever possible, do this ask by voice memo. You will get much better response when compared to written message. Make it personal!
A) Verbiage for a new consultant launching
Hey Jess! I just started a new business and I’m so excited! I wanted to invite you to my 15 minute FB Event where I’ll be sharing more info about our amazing brand and products! My main presentation will take place on Thursday March 5th @ 7pm EST. It'll be short and sweet (like I said - just 15 minutes) and I’ll be doing contests and giveaways! Not to worry if you can’t be LIVE at that time, you can always catch the replay. I’d love to have you as a guest! Here's the link: _______________ Super easy! You can just click right now to join the group!

B) Verbiage when you're asking someone to Host for you
Hi Amy! I’m wondering - if you could earn heavily discounted products, is there any chance you might be open to hosting an online Facebook event for my Arbonne business? It would help me branch out and share with a new network of people which I would be so grateful for. Our events are short, sweet (literally just 15 minutes) and easy-peasy - nothing like those 5-7 day parties that go on forever with a million posts. You just send out a link with an invite, introduce me to your friends and I do the rest! I will totally make it worth your while and I thank my hosts generously, by offering the deepest discounts possible. I'll also be doing some contests and giveaways & I'll keep it light and fun. Is this something you might consider? It would mean the world to me!
If they say yes a sample response might be:
Great! I'm currently booking Monday and Wednesday evenings in September (choose two days/times that work for you), so let me know which day and time work best for you. I will do a 15 minute live presentation on the night that we choose, highlighting my favourite products and offering giveaways to your guests. Thank you so much! It's going to be a lot of fun! Once we choose our date, I’ll walk you through inviting so that we can get an amazing turnout!
**We don't often struggle to find hosts, but if we're ever going through a lull and finding it a challenge to secure bookings based off of Host Perks alone, there is an option to offer each new host a gift as well. As we said in our video, gift as you feel comfortable. This works especially well right after new products are launched, because it incentivizes people who want to get their hands on the new products.
STEP TWO- MAKING THE FACEBOOK GROUP
On the left hand side of your Facebook page, under Explore, click Create Group (or click Create at the top of Groups, if on your phone). Name your group “Healthy Living with YOUR NAME”, choose "private" for privacy option, add your host and/or your upline and make sure to make them a moderator, and then click Create Group. Then add our “Welcome to the Party” Cover Image to add a pleasing aesthetic to the top of your page!
Now fill out the description of the group on the right hand side with sample verbiage:
Come learn how you can flourish in 2021. We will be talking about a holistic approach to health and well-being from the inside out, focusing on the mind/body/skin connection. We will teach you more about how you can look and feel your best in 2021! AND doing some fun contests and giveaways!
**Then copy and paste this description and post it as a regular comment within the group. Once it's posted, click the 3 dots on the top right of the post and mark this as an announcement
**NOTES: Make sure notifications are turned on to “all” when you set up your group as it will not be that way when you set it up.
**You can manually post or choose to schedule the posts ahead of time, leading up to the Live. You can schedule a post by acting as if you're actually posting within the group, but instead of posting, click the clock on the left hand side of the Post button to schedule a certain date or time (this is a great option, if you have a nutty schedule!)
**If you'd like for others to be added to the group automatically when they request to join (every once in awhile, someone already in the group will decide to invite one of their friends to take a peek as well), you can do this by going to the group on your cell phone. Click on the shield icon in the top right corner, then click Member Requests, then click Set Up Admin Assist. I usually set it up to allow anyone to be accepted as long as they have one other friend already in the group. This way, you don’t need to manually accept them all as new members!
EVENT POST NUMBER ONE
**This post needs to be there before your host even invites anyone. If this is your own event (as compared to a Host Event), you wouldn’t share most of the beginning details - they already know who you are! Just share the last sentence, starting with “I’m so excited to share about our Holistic Healthy Living Lifestyle…..”
Hi Everyone! Welcome to _______’s Healthy Living event! My name is _____ and I'm a friend of ______. I'm so excited to share my knowledge and passion with her favourite people so I hope you will accept my friend request! I look forward to connecting with all of you, and showing you how to create a happy and healthy lifestyle in 2021, that's sustainable. A little bit about me! I'm a toddler Mama, an elementary school teacher, and a Regional Vice President with Arbonne (obviously personalize this part). When I'm not running after my two year old or working my biz, you can find me reading, cooking, or spending time outdoors! I am so excited to share more about Holistic Healthy Living on Tuesday at 8pm! It will be a short 15 minute LIVE but I will be covering soooo much. See you all then! And thanks so much for supporting _______.

STEP THREE- COACHING YOUR HOSTS
MISSION CRITICAL
Get the host excited about how much fun she and her friends will have "hanging out" online and hearing about some super cool products & a holistic healthy living approach for 2021. Make sure the host has a product testimony or is excited to try the products because of your testimony. It's best if you can get some samples to them to try beforehand. They need to be excited!
Coach your host on how to invite (or if this is your event, act as if you're the host). Encourage them to cast a wide net and invite people from all over the country, as well as the other countries where Arbonne is available (US, UK, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Poland). Let them know they'll want to invite at least 30 people to have 5-20 accept.
NO MASS INVITING - These days, people need a personal invite to be interested. You will see below that we add personal touches to the message. That will encourage more people to join.
Give the host this verbiage along with the link to their group and say:
Hi Jen, I have your party open and you can start inviting your friends and family. I recommend that you send just a little note with the invitation. Something like "Hi Carrie! I just decided to host a Healthy Living Facebook event and I would love it if you would join us! I thought of you because I know you are super health conscious (or a “skincare junkie” or “love to hear about a great deal” - personalize to them individually). My friend Emily will be going LIVE on Tuesday at 7:30 pm to share more info, and it will be short and sweet - just 15 mins! Bonus: there will be contests and generous giveaways- can’t wait for those! Here's the link: _______________ Super easy! You can just click right now to join the group!”
STEP FOUR- DIRECT MESSAGING EACH GUEST
**This step is only for HOST events, as it gives you an opportunity to get to know the guests. You would not need to send this additional message out to people in your own network, because you already do have relationships with those people
IMPORTANT: Friend request every guest & SEND A PRIVATE MESSAGE to all of the members as they join!! Just be friendly. Say something like:
"Hey Sallie! Thanks a million for accepting Kelly's FB party invite! I'm Kait and I'll be doing the presentation on ______ night. I love Kelly and I know I will love meeting all of her friends as well. I prefer to get to know my guests before we jump all in! Which of these four categories interests you most? Skincare, Nutrition, Bath & Body, Cosmetics?

EVENT POST NUMBER TWO
**About 24 hours before the event starts
Hello everyone!
I hope you can hop on live with us tomorrow night at 8pm (or whatever time it is scheduled). As I said in my last post, it won't be long - 15 minutes or so, and I'll be doing some contests and product giveaways! Be sure to turn your notifications "on" for this group so you don't miss out on those! You can do this by going to the "Group" icon on the bottom of your phone, select this group and tap the 3 dots on the top right of your screen. Tap the Notification Setting bell icon and choose "All Posts." Looking forward to seeing you all tomorrow night!
Also, I sent you each a message asking about the categories you were most interested in hearing about! If we aren’t yet friends, you might not be able to see it until you accept my friend request!! xo
**Attach image that says "Join Us Live Tomorrow Night!"
**We recommend you tag everyone who has accepted the invite to the group! To do this in the actual post, you MUST create the post ON YOUR COMPUTER. Go into the group, click on “Members”, then “Write Welcome Post”, then delete the automated message that says “Lets welcome these new members” and instead paste what we’ve written above in red. Your members will automatically be tagged. Then click the photo button and attach the image that says “Live happening tomorrow”. Then click the "Post" button! Then everyone who has been tagged will receive a notification.
**NOTE: If guests are added after you do this post, we recommend you tag them in the comments once they’ve joined.

EVENT POST NUMBER FIVE
**Around lunchtime, the day of the event
**This post is about YOUR favourite product! Make it genuine and authentic and try to post an image with your face in it AND the product! Not just a stock image from the website!
Em’s example: One of my Arbonne obsessions... our plant based protein powder!
I don't go a day without downing one of these delicious babies! Chocolate, vanilla, marble cake, cinnamon roll, strawberry, coffee, chocolate mint... they're ALL a hit in my house!
I LOVE that each serving gives me 20 g of protein that comes from rice, pea, and cranberry! I also love how smooth it is! SO many of my clients comment on how much they love our shakes! I add a healthy fat, some greens, and other yummy things to mix it up each day and it keeps me full and satisfied! Trying to keep it out of my hubby's hands is a different story!
EVENT POST NUMBER SIX
**A few hours before the event
If you are a New Consultant, you will go LIVE for 2-5 minutes and share why you've partnered with Arbonne! Close the live by telling everyone how excited you are to see them tonight at __pm EST (insert time zone)!
If you have a Host and they have their own testimonial with the products, have them do a separate post (live or written). Your host's testimony will carry a lot of weight with their guests! In your host's testimony, they can also say how excited they are to see everyone on the live tonight at ___pm EST (insert time zone).
**A few hours before you go LIVE: Send every guest that has not joined a reminder to join. To do this, click on "MEMBERS" within the party, Click on "INVITED", a list of names will populate, click on each name and select SEND REMINDER.
EVENT POST NUMBER SEVEN
**30 mins before going LIVE
Hi everyone! We will be going live in 30 minutes, at 8:00pm EST right here in this Facebook group! I hope you can pop on! It won’t be very long at all and we'll be talking about our product raffles as well!! Looking forward to seeing you soon!

STEP SIX-LIVE PRESENTATION
IF YOU ARE NEW TO THE TEAM, YOUR SPONSOR IS GOING TO DO MOST OF THE LIVE PRESENTATION FOR YOU. This way, you can get a feel for how the live should flow before jumping into your own host events, but we do encourage you to add in any personal facts or testimonials that you would like to share (keeping in mind that our time limit is 15-20 minutes in total).
**We have included a script for those who feel they need the guidance but please feel free to make this your own as soon as you start to feel comfortable. This can be used as a guide. Also, anything in this script that is specific to Emily should be personalized to fit YOU!
**We encourage the new IC to START the LIVE event on the group page. We have learned that people are much more likely to hop on when the person starting the LIVE is someone the guests personally know. Then the leader who is training and actually DOING the presentation can request to be added to the event and can take over the presentation from there!

EVENT POST NUMBER NINE
Thank you to everyone who hopped on LIVE tonight! For everyone else, you can catch the REPLAY for the next 48 hours!!! Here are images of the Bundles I talk about in the LIVE, plus some others that offer such great value! If you weren't able to comment during the LIVE on what you're interested in, feel free to comment here or message me privately!
**See end of our Smore document for all bundle photos and keep in mind these are all images that represent Canada (ie. our Breakfast Club here is the Healthy Habits pack which may not be available in all markets)
** You will also see an image that says “Thank you for your order” that we encourage you to post every time someone completes a purchase over the next two days. When people see that others are actually ordering, they don’t want to miss out!
STEP EIGHT - FOLLOWING UP
**THIS STEP IS CRITICAL. Do not brush over the follow up. You will only make sales if you initiate dialogue with people privately. Remember, the reason our bundle images do not include pricing is so that people HAVE to engage in personal conversation with you to find out - this is part of our strategy and it WORKS. So, everyone that has watched the live, commented on the live, added themselves to your VIP page or followed you on IG should get a follow up message from you so that dialogues can now begin. Here are some tips for following up…
For anyone who commented about product bundles on the LIVE - “Hi______! Thanks so much for commenting on the Live tonight, and I'm excited to know I've piqued your interest. Do you have any specific questions or are you ready for me to just hook you up? :)
For everyone who added you on IG or found your VIP Page – “Hi _______! Thank you for participating in our giveaway and good luck! I’m curious, after watching my live, what resonated the most with you?”
For everyone who commented HOST – “Hi _____! So excited to hook you up with our best discounts available and share my love with your friends and family. The next dates that I have available for an event are ___________. Do any of those work for you?”
For everyone who WATCHED the LIVE - The fortune is in the follow-up. So often, people are too shy to comment or enter the giveaway, but that doesn’t mean they aren’t interested. If you make an effort to send them a message anyway, it could very well lead to something. You could start simply by saying: “Hi_______ Thanks for taking time to watch my FB Live! Wondering what resonated most with you?”
**Again, because the info that we share is limited, your clients don’t know about thresholds for Build for More etc. In your conversations with people, if you start to feel that the bundles are well beyond their budget, make sure to let them know about the retail client options and similarly, if you get the feeling they have a MASSIVE wish list, make sure to talk to them about Build for More. This is alllllll done in the personal conversations.

**Post for the next morning - If there are any really great product promos or incentives going on, here is a chance to share them. Don't go overboard with info but if there is a BOGO going on or a sale on specific items, you could add a post in here to share that info.

**Post a couple of hours before the party closes
Hello everyone!
One last post to remind you that we will be closing out this event tonight at 8pm so that we can get Ashley’s hands on all the goodies she's earned! SO, if you've been thinking about placing an order, now's your time! Also a reminder that every single order placed also gets a personal gift from ME! **At the 48 hour mark, post the “congratulations” image and a LIVE video of you drawing the winner for the giveaway (using the website wheelofnames.com). If you have very few giveaway entries, skip the video and just post the image.

STEP NINE- WRAPPING THINGS UP
Don’t forget to send out your giveaway gift and if you chose to offer free gifts to all those who placed an order! We recommend you send everything out by snail mail! It’s all about that personalized customer service experience which makes a huge impact. Now is also the time to help your host take advantage of their host perks coupon. Reach out to your sponsor for guidance on this part of the process.
Finally, we encourage you to send invites out for your VIP page to anyone who didn't join yet- especially those that you were in conversations with who didn't end up purchasing. We want to continue to foster those relationships with the hopes that they eventually become happy clients!
