9/11 The life changing event
By Charles Collins
What happened that day?
Who attacked Us?
9/11 had a major effect on our society. It plunged our economy into a huge deficit and engaged the U.S.A in a war in Afghanistan. Many people lost their lives on this tragic day.
- The attacks resulted in the deaths of 2,996 people, including the 19 hijackers and 2,977 victims.
- All of the deaths were civilians except for 71 law enforcement officers and 343 firefighters killed at the world trade center site in New York City, New York one law enforcement officer killed when United Airline 93 crashed into the field in shanks Ville, Pennsylvania
- both the Pearl Harbor and 9/11 attacks were unprovoked, without benefit of declaration of war on U.S. soil
How The U.S. Reacted
How did this change History?
Many people say that 9/11 wasn't a real attack. Some say that 9/11 was just a missile that was launched by George bush during his time in office. Other say that the twin towers were just blown up by a controlled explosion (a remote bomb). I believe 9/11 was an life changing event and it was caused by George Bush because he wanted to start war with other countries to stay in power of office.
