CREF ANNOUNCES NEW STUDENT SCHOLARSHIPS
This spring, the Council Rock Education Foundation announces two new scholarships available to college bound CR seniors.
CR North and South Seniors
· Partners in Belonging Scholarship - Established in 2018 and inspired by Joe Landis, a visionary who dedicated his life’s work to serving individuals with special needs. The mission of the scholarship is to provide financial assistance to a CRHS – North or South senior(s) seeking a 4-year undergraduate degree at an accredited college or university. Preference will be given to students who intend to major in the areas of special education and human services. The scholarship principally targets students that demonstrate leadership, social activism and civic engagement in the area of special education and human services. This year’s award amount is up to $500 (i.e. 2 awards for $250 or 1 award of $500 each). The scholarships are a one-year, non-renewable award
