On Monday, February 1st all schools transitioned to five days full-time in-person learning. GPS will continue to monitor active COVID-19 cases on a school by school basis, if an individual school reaches the percentages for active cases per campus population, a decision will be made for that school to move temporarily to a hybrid instructional delivery model for a minimum of 14 days.
Percentage of active cases per campus population to determine school moves to temporary hybrid learning model:
- 1% for High Schools
- 1.5% for Juniors High Schools
- 2% Elementary Schools
- 5 active cases for Canyon Valley School
- 3 active cases for RISE Junior high School

Enrollment for 2021-2022 School Year
To complete the enrollment process you will need to provide the following items:
- Birth Certificate
- Immunization Record
- Proof of Residency (current utility bill, rental agreement or sales contract)
- Legal Guardianship or Custodial Documents
Kindergarten students must be 5 by August 31, 2021. Children who turn 5 between September 1st and December 31st may be sign up for a Kindergarten Early Entrance Screening. Early Entrance Screenings will be held in June and July prior to the school year of registration, and be completed prior to the first day of school. Early entrance Screening will not be available once school has begun. A non-refundable $90.00 fee will be collected at the time of registration.
