Books will be available after Spring Break

Students in Mrs. Christy and Mrs. Mangus' ELA class will be reading Seedfolks by Paul Fleischman in April. Students are required to purchase the book and bring the book with them to class daily. Books are available from Mrs. Mangus or Mrs. Christy for $5. Books may also be purchased elsewhere. Seedfolks is available on Amazon and Barnes and Nobel for $5.62.


A vacant lot, rat-infested and filled with garbage, looked like no place for a garden. Especially to a neighborhood of strangers where no one seems to care. Until one day, a young girl clears a small space and digs into the hard-packed soil to plant her precious bean seeds.
