Reopening Plans for Public Health and Health Sciences Campus
The CPH Reopening FAQ is now posted on the website in two locations. If you want general and easy to use FAQs and information about the Health Sciences Campus and spaces available, check out our information at here:
https://publichealth.uga.edu/coronavirus/return-to-campus-faq/
https://publichealth.uga.edu/current-students/
Example:
Q: How do I find out if I’m supposed to come to class in person if I transfer into another class during Drop/Add?
A: If you join a class during drop/add week, please email the instructor immediately and ask to be added manually to the eLC portal for the course. Updates to eLC happen overnight if you do not contact an instructor. Emailing will not always guarantee that your instructor will process your request. Please be patient during this busy time.
In the College of Public Health, we are asking that ALL classes meet online during Drop/Add to avoid confusion about who should be in person and when. After the course enrollment is set after Drop/Add, your instructor will let you know what the in-person rotation schedule will be.

All faculty, staff and students are asked to check their symptoms using DawgCheck before coming to campus each day. DawgCheck is an online tool to help assess and respond to COVID-19 cases at UGA in an effort to keep the campus community safe. DawgCheck consists of a reporting function which must be used by anyone who has received a positive COVID-19 test result, as well as a symptom checking questionnaire which we request everyone respond to before coming to campus or leaving your residence hall in the morning.
An FAQ on how and when to use DawgCheck is available here: https://dawgcheck.uga.edu/support/
