Practicing Positive Self Talk
Many children don’t have the tools to regulate their emotions, but learning how to practice positive self-talk can help them deal with many challenges.
The worksheet contained in the link below will help your students identify examples of positive self-talk and how to use these in situations when they arise.
Activity: Complete the Positive Thoughts worksheet as a class or in small groups. Discuss any variances in the ways students answered. Identify other opportunities for positive self-talk directly related to current classroom or social stress.
