NRHS Update
April 19, 2020
A MESSAGE FROM THE PRINCIPAL
Dear Nashoba Families,
I hope you and your families are healthy and safe during this time. The entire Nashoba staff misses being in school and seeing you on a daily basis. This is a tough time for everyone. We want to thank you for your support, flexibility, and patience as we all navigate this difficult and unprecedented time together.
Remote Learning: We are entering week 3 of remote learning in our district. I am happy with the students engagement and proud of the work teachers are putting into their lessons. A few reminders:
- Teachers will post weekly assignments by Monday mornings by 8:00AM
- Students should be checking their NRSD school email and Google Classroom every day
- We expect students to be working on assignments for approximately 3 hours per day. Some students will work straight through 3 hours, some will need to work in smaller chunks of 30 minutes or so in time; to each his/her own pace
- See the Nashoba Remote Learning Weekly Schedule at the bottom of this newsletter. We urge you to use this schedule and set up a routine that works best for you.
- All school rules and technology rules still apply during Remote Learning
- Your guidance counselors and special education staff are available and willing to help if needed -- just send an email
Update for Seniors: The plan for the seniors last day of school will most likely be in mid May. However, I can't give a definitive date yet until we hear back from the state.
Please do not hesitate to reach out with any questions or concerns.
Sincerely,
Stephen Cullinane
