SY20 TCES Family Issue #36

June 8, 2020

Hello Terrapins!

We are in the process of planning for families to retrieve students' personal belongings. There will be scheduled day(s) and times designated by grade level, likely during the last week of school for students. Students' personal items will have already been collected, bagged, and labeled. Staff will be stationed outdoors in the front of the school ready to distribute students' belongings. We will have "contact-free" collection areas for media books and SMCPS instruments outside of the building.

Safety guidelines (face coverings, frequent handwashing, and social distancing) will be followed and we will have a process for managing traffic. Expect more information to be shared as our plans are finalized.

Finally, the need for efficiency will prevent the opportunity for long conversations, but we would love for you to bring your child along for the "drive-thru" so we have the opportunity to see their faces, wave, and wish them our very best.

Kindly,

Lindsay Brenfleck
