Take Our Daughters and Sons to Work day is Thursday, April 25, 2019.

Take Our Daughters and Sons to Work day is Thursday, April 25, 2019. Children younger than 5 are considered too young to be in the workplace, and it is preferable for children in 3rd through 8th grade to take part in this observation. District employees who wish to bring their daughter or son to work with them may do so on Thursday, April 25, 2019. Employees also must prearrange their children’s absences with their principals and teachers if they plan to participate. If you are planning on bringing your son/daughter please ensure they are signed in on Raptor when you arrive so that we have a record of children that are on campus for safety/security purposes.

FSA 6th ELA Reading/FSA 6th Math Testing Schedule Change

The dates for the FSA 6th ELA Reading and FSA 6th Math have changed. The testing dates have been switched and will test as follows:

6th FSA ELA Reading 5/1-5/2

6th FSA Math 5/8-5/9 (5/10 S3 ESE)

Welcome Mrs. Hartwig to our Coyote Staff!!

My name is Mandi Hartwig and I am thrilled to be here at CCMHS! I have been successfully teaching math for about 10 years. I love seeing my students grow in their math skills. I have high expectations of all my students and I love to celebrate any and all growth. Math has always been my favorite subject, especially Algebra. Math is like a game to me. The harder the problem is like the harder the level. When I get the right answer I win!

I graduated from Pasco High School then attended the University of South Florida where I earned my bachelor's degree. In school, I played soccer and softball. I was also a cheerleader, dancer and a member of various clubs. My husband's name is Geoff and we have two daughters (Lindsey 10 and Mallory 8). We also have a cat named Captain Crunch and a little dog named Ewok. The things that are most important to me are family, work, health, balance and celebrating the little things. Also, I love being outside!

Thank you for welcoming me to CCMHS. I am looking forward to getting to know everyone. I feel blessed to be here. Go Coyotes!

Florida Standards Review

The Florida Department of Education has established timelines and structures to collect feedback on our current academic standards. We encourage each of you to take time to provide feedback around this critically important work. Your voices our so important in this process and we would love for Pasco to have a significant amount of input provided. Please visit: for feedback forms and additional information related to the review process.

FSA & EOC February Retakes/ACT-NCR/SAT School Day/SAT-NCR Score Reports

Score reports for the all the exams listed above will made available in mid-May. As soon as results come out, Mr. Copeland, Mrs. Fewox, Ms. Vaccaro, and Ms. Balfour will be meeting with students individually.

Submit a Faculty or Student Howlout!

Faculty Howlouts will drive our selections for Staff Member of the Week. Each week we will announce all of our HS and MS Coyote staff members of the week! These staff members will have their names announced on the intercom on Friday. At the end of the quarter the Staff Members of the Week will be invited to a special luncheon in their honor! We look forward to receiving numerous staff shout outs so we have many to select from each week!”

Student Howlouts: At the end of the week these students will be invited down to the flag pole in the center of the courtyard where we will have a Coyote Flag to be raised on Friday. These students will get the honor of raising the flag each Friday, and will have their names announced on the intercom! At the end of the quarter we will have a breakfast for all of our Students of the Week and their parents.
