Must Do - Should Do
Here is the link to the "Must Do-Should Do" document. The is what will change if/when expectations change. The must do are things that have to happen. The should do are things I believe will help us in the long run. They are optional activities/actions.

Hourly Employee Information
We will be pushing for missing work completion and gather a little information this week. We are working on a district plan for home WiFi connectivity. We are asking that during this week's calls we collect information about households who do not have WiFi. Here is a potential script:
"Hello, it's _____________ from North High School again. I hope everything is going well with everyone this week. We are calling to just let you know that teachers are accepting late or missing work from this semester. If you have access, please have your student get online and get some things done. Do you guys have WiFi at home that your child's school computer connects to?"
If yes - "Great! Please have them connect with your teachers online! Talk to you next week!"
If no - "Okay, I will let the principals know. They are working a plan to increase access. Have a good day and we will chat next week."
Once you have gone through your list, email Ryan (dumkrir@live.siouxcityschools.com) the list of students without wifi access. All we need are ID numbers. The email should be this simple:
124355
134351
780023
320390
913033
If you have any questions, contact your "assigned' administrator.

Setting Up Virtual Meetings
Know that we can use Microsoft Team or Zoom. We encourage teams since we cannot ensure all students has or can get access. Normally Zoom costs and has a time limit. They have lifted that temporarily due to the shut down. We can commit that our students have access to Microsoft Teams.
Good News: MICROSOFT TEAMS IS INTEGRATED IN CANVAS
This means you can setup a Teams Meeting right wtihin the Discussions, Messages, Announcements, or in the Calendar. This puts the link right to the students.
