April is School Library Month!
Spotlight #2 - April 19th, 2021
April is School Library Month!
Libraries are more..
For December we upcycled Christmas wrapping paper scraps and created Christmas cards to send to NC troops. We were able to send 36 cards!!
For January we began SSR (Self-Selected Reading/Sustained-Silent Reading) with all 8th graders. This program helps promote reading for fun in students and staff members. We hope to extend this to the high school next year.
Be on the lookout this month for poetry spotlights, as April is also National Poetry Month!

OUR MISSION
The mission of the South Davidson school library program is to provide an inviting learning commons for students and staff, to educate users in evaluating information, and to encourage all Wildcats to read for pleasure at least 20 minutes a day as a part of our #wildcatsread #reading20matters reading initiative.
