ROYALFEST 2.0

This is the week! This coming Saturday, October 23, 2021, is ROYALFEST 2.0. We still have plenty of tickets to purchase for this event. There are many auction items as well as some raffles. Please make sure to get your tickets as soon as you can, as we prepare for food for the evening.

Tickets can be purchased in the school office or at the door, the night of the event. If you are interested in volunteering for the event, please contact the office.

Tickets are $35/person or $50/couple.

Need another reason to attend Royalfest 2.0? You will also have an opportunity to bid on your child's classroom coloring page. Each class was given a coloring page of the Blessed Mother and were asked to color it the way that they imagine the Blessed Mother to look. Each 11 X 18 was colored by classrooms from PreK to 8th grade. Miss Young also colored a 16 x 20 that will also be auctioned to demonstrate the coloring of Mary.

COVID REMINDERS

Parents, when we are notified of a COVID positive student or staff member, we follow the guidelines from the Allen County Health Department to conduct contact tracing and then the families who have students and the staff that are considered close contacts are called to be informed of quarantine requirements.

Only those parents/students who were notified by the school are required to quarantine. If you did not receive a phone call or letter, your child is NOT considered a close contact and is not required to quarantine.

As always, we ask that all of our families respect the privacy of our students and staff. Please do not ask to share any information related to individuals who may have tested positive and/or are required to quarantine.

Attendance Reminder

If you have a student out sick or for an appointment, please call the school office at 483-8214 first thing in the morning to explain the reason for the absence. Otherwise, the student is marked "Unexcused" for that day. Thank you!

HASA NEWS

The NED's Mindset Mission virtual assembly was received well by our students! NED taught everyone to Never give up, Encourage Others, and Do their best!! Students learned about the "Power of "YET" and the Yetti featured on the yo-yo's we are selling helps them recall what they learned.

If you have not yet purchased a yo-yo for your child, IT IS NOT TOO LATE! We will have them available in the entranceway in the mornings from 7:30-8:00 a.m. and after school from 3:00-3:00 p.m. (2:00-2:30 on Thursday and 1:00-1:30 on Friday) through the end of this week.

What a great stocking stuffer, birthday present, reward for work well done, and best effort!

The profits from the sale of the yo-yo's help us 'pay it forward.' That way another school can enjoy the same program we did, at no cost to them!
